It's really simple. Take off the soft top skins and frame (depending on the style of top you may need to take the header off the top of the windshield and may have to change the side pieces by the windshield that the doors rest against). Set the hard top on the Jeep, line up the holes, drop the bolts in the holes, tighten them on the nuts, lock down (or screw in the bolts depending the year) on the front and there ya go.

If you have a rear wiper and defroster make sure you plug them into the hard top.

The hardest part is getting the top on cuz it is freaking heavy!!! It takes us probably about 15-20 minutes for the entire thing.

Once it has been lowered ontop of the vehicle there are approx 8-10 bolts along the rear/side edges of the top and 5 screws along the windshield. A hoist system mounted to the ceiling of a garage/car port usually make it easy for one person to do, otherwise get a fairly strong friend to assist with lifting the top on and off.

Go buy one then put it on. ussually you would take the soft top off first, depending on the amount of tuna fish you had for lunch, then you want to check the oil and make sure there isnt and water damage on the floor board next to the rear bumper. Next race a chipmunck to the top of a tree and look down to see if theres any fat ladys sitting on the roof of the hard top, that should tell you how long its been sitting there. that should do it, good luck. you shouldnt need any tape or nails, they come with it.

their very simple to install once you have the soft top off, you get someone to help lift and it will slide right on.
