I am a Christian and if someone in my family converted to Islam, I would be very concerned for them. I would not take it lightly, but I wouldn't hate them.

First, I read the Koran. I think that if they converted then they would be willing to do what it says. here is just one verse from the Koran to back my view.

Al Meada ( 120 )Ayah Chapter-5: Verse-51
O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is anally to them among you – then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed,Allah guides not the wrongdoing people.

If they were ready to do what that verse suggests, then they have to live with it. There are many more like this. Muslims and Christians are very opposite. We worship different gods, for one.

The Muslim faith contradicts the Christian faith. It would be very hard for someone to stay connected to their Christian family if they were a convert of Islam.

Read the Koran and and Bible. Find the truth!

I wouldn't react at all as long as said family members are happy and finding what they seek in their choices and are conducting themselves virtuously so they hurt no one, nor cause suffering.
