There is only one Islam. If the people do not follow Islamic Sharia this does not mean that there is different versions. It means people do not know their religion.

There are no different versions of Islam. That's a silly statement. Muslims like Christians and other faiths have forgiving and non forgiving people. The prophet Muhammad (saws) said it is better to forgive. There are Christians that goes to extremism and there are Muslims who do the same. Just study Islam and you will find a peace full religion that the last messenger brought. The correct version of Islam is the religion that Muhammad and his (pbuh) companions practiced.

I see here that Muslims are running from the direct question. Try reading the book.."The Many faces of Islam' and you will see that Islam indeed has many versions. Muslims need to make up their minds whether Islam is indeed a religion of peace or a cult of hatred and death.
Muslims like Action's fury here makes it very clear that there is no true versions of Islam...if the Sudanese Muslims are wrong and the English Muslims are wrong...then what is right?

Are these 'the versions' of a Religion! Islam should better be known, like any other religion, by its fundamentals. And there are no differences among 'versions'. It may be the only religion where all 'versions' agree on the fundamentals. Thus, there may be neither any sect nor any version in Islam...

British Muslims didn't give her flowers to reward her for naming a teddy bear Muhammed, but to express how they feel for her and for what she's been through, i.e. through silly and ridiculous accusations which only brought bad name to Islam.
Many Muslims on this board have clearly stated that they disagree with what happened in Sudan, and that it's not a blasphemy to name a teddy bear Muhammed because he was only a prophet - not God. One can only blaspheme against God, not against people.

in accordance to Matthew 27:5, Judas hanged himself. yet Acts one million:18 says, “pitching head top-rated he noisily burst in his midst and all his intestines have been poured out.” Matthew seems to handle the mode of the tried suicide, mutually as Acts describes the end result. Combining the two debts, it appears that evidently that Judas tried to hold close himself over some cliff, however the rope or tree limb broke so as that he plunged down and burst open on the rocks under. The topography around Jerusalem makes such an experience achieveable. So your first concept grow to be superb in spite of the certainty that it wasn't made up. it is from the Bible.

"In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Compassionate".
Always draw your lessons from Holy Quran and sahee Hadith and not from Muslims.
Sudan wanted the head of that English teacher who named a Teddy Bear Mohammad,The Muslims of England gave her flowers = I guess both are wrong, I think she did it in misunderstanding b/c I don't think that anyone could do such a thing in an Islamic country, but she was a teacher, so she must have known the feelings of Muslims, but she was ignorant. So if she did that thing in wrong so Sudanese people are wrong and English Muslims are so compensatory, she never ever deserves flowers.
Research & observations from Holy Quran & Sahee Hadith, Religious scholars like Sheikh Ahmed Deedat’s www.ahmed-deedat.co.za, Dr. Zakir Naik's www.irf.net , www.peacetv.in, Aalama Tahir-ul-Qadri, Israr Ahmed etc.
May Allah help & guide us all, Amen’.

Islam is a state religion or an esoteric path. Those have always been the two choices available to muslims.

It's not a "version" it's personality... those who are altruistic, wise and kind, soaked in patience and understanding are going to be so in any religion. Then there are those who are going to interpret things differently from, perhaps, ego, anger, suffering etc.
What do you think is "correct"?
