This is a follow-up to my question a couple of days ago ('Is it too pathetic to call him?'), where I explained that I have been dating a guy for a couple of months, he didn't contact me after we slept together, so almost a week later (i.e. last Thursday) I texted him and we had a text chat, but he didn't ask to see me again. I asked if I should bother contacting him again, as I like him a lot and enjoy spending time with him, but I was pretty hurt by how he treated me. The general consenus was that this guy had been using me and I should forget him.

Well, now he's just texted apologising for not contacting me sooner and asking how I am. Should I tell him to get lost or give him another chance?

A guy who really likes a girl will be in contact. If he's not in contact with you for a week, then you aren't his first choice. Wouldn't you rather be with someone who wants to be with you as much as you want to be with him?

Don't tell him to get lost - respond to his texts in a friendly manner and see what he does. If he remains in contact, then give him another shot (but don't just jump back into bed with him.) If he doesn't, then he just doesn't think of you as girlfriend material and you should move on and find someone new.

Best of luck.

Well, he did contact you. And he did apologize. But he did it by text. That could mean a few things. 1) You aren't worth a phone call to him. 2) He didn't know what to say if he did call. 3) He feels guilty and is trying to spare himself.

Just text him back. Nothing long. Just tell him you are okay are maybe something going on, like jsut getting ready for work or whatever. If you like him, don't tell him to get lost, but go back with your eyes wide open.

He didn't call after you slept together, but you were together a few months, so you were more than a booty call. Just proceed with caution, and see how often he contacts you in the future.

Everyone is entitled to a bad day and maybe he's just realised how rude he was a few days ago. Having said that, there is also the possibility that he just wants sex, so as long as you're aware of the potential consequences feel free to text him back.

Everyone deserves a second chance. But DON'T have sex with him. Tell him that you guys need to slow down and see what his reaction is. If he backs off then you have your answer.

Tell him to get lost! He must be wanting sex again and knows how you feel so he is calling you. He probably thinks you are a "sure thing" . If he liked you he woud have called before!!

It is your life honey. I think he is using you but if you don't give it a go you will never know. There is often more than one right answer for a problem and the right answer for one person could be the wrong one for you. good luck.

Why would you want to give him another chance? Chances are, he's gotten horny again so he figures you are a sure thing.

I wouldn't even give him the time of day.

Of coarse he is sorry, he is horny. Tell him to go hire a prostitute they don't want a call until he is ready to get laid again. You are better then that. Don't give him the time of day.

look into your heart, what do you feel you should do? do you feel like he used you even though he apolagized and that he is just apologizing because he wants sex?- then dont call him back, but if you feel he is honestly sorry then give him another chance, call him back but dont give him sex. Good luck, I hope everything works out.
