I got in an argument with this Christian minister guy and he says God hates non-believers and loves his followers.

I told the minister that God is all loving and than he called me a liar... can I have some biblical proof to show him?

There is a sense in which God loves everyone in the whole world (John 3:16; 1 John 2:2; Romans 5:8). This love in not conditional – it is based only on the fact that God is a God of love (1 John 4:8,16). God’s love for all of mankind results in the fact that God shows His mercy by not immediately punishing people for their sins (Romans 3:23; 6:23). If God did not love everyone, we would all be in hell right now. God’s love for the world is manifested in the fact that He gives people the opportunity to repent (2 Peter 3:9). However, God’s love for the world does not mean that He will ignore sin. God is also a God of justice (2 Thessalonians 1:6). Sin cannot go unpunished forever (Romans 3:25-26).

The most loving act of eternity is described in Romans 5:8, “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Early Christians believed that the God of the Old Testament was actually the Devil because he did mean and wrathful acts. He turned Saul into salt because he turned around. God asked some in the Old Testament to kill their sons, Sodom & Gammorah was populated also by children when God deatroyed it. Many ministers pretend that the Old Testament doesn't exist and use only the New Testament where God is more loving. Early Christian religions believed that there was anywhere from 1 to over 300 different Gods. Your minister knows this, but doesn't acknowledge it, because it doesn't serve his agenda.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and it is as a free gift that they are being declared righteous by his undeserved kindness through the release by the ransom [paid] by Christ Jesus.

John 3:16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life.

God doesn't hate anything except sin. So even followers can sin, and that will He hate.

As for God being all loving-He is. The thing is, all loving doesn't mean He will tolerate everything. So the Bible doesn't say that God is loves all. God IS love, and therefore anything that is of Him (believers who do their best not to sin) are part of that love.

35But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. (Luke 6)

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. (1 John 4:8)

16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3)

If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. (1 John 4:20)

The god of the Bible is crap. The human, Moses, had to stay his wrath when the god Yahweh wanted to kill off the people he had just rescued from Egypt because they wanted a statue of a golden calf. Apparently, the bible says that Moses "changed god's mind"... and since god acquiesced, that implies that Moses knew best.

If you want to worship that, you're welcome to.
