is it repeatedly coming ? IF MOUTH ULCERS PERSISTS MORE THAN A WEEK AND OCCURS CONTINUOUSLY----consult your Doctor or dentist. Tell your doctor you have ulcers in mouth continuously(to rule out viral infection). If so,then treatment has to be done with antiviral medications TREATMENT: Most of the times mouth ulcers usually go away without any treatment. to get relief do the following: 1.Dont take hot and spicy food. 2.if pain persists, you can try taking ibuprofen or acetaminophen 3.you can also apply directly on the ulcer any one of these ----ORAJEL, Orabase and Zilactin-B. they help you to get relief from mouth ulcers from becoming irritated by eating, drinking or brushing your teeth. 4.other method available is You can also mix equal amounts of Milk of Magnesia and Benadryl Allergy liquid. After it's mixed, you can swish a teaspoonful in your mouth for about 1 minute and then spit it out. If you do this every 4 to 6 hours, your mouth ulcer may hurt less. 5.Supplements such as taking vitamin C or vitamin B complex, will also help mouth ulcers heal faster. hope you will get well soon.good luck

I'm not joking here... fresh goats milk. I lived in the Middle East for most of my life and on a farm nearby they had goats and it was common for the owners to give a small amount for people who came there because of mouth ulcers, even the neo natal unit used to suggest this for the new born babies that get thrush in their mouths. Read up on the net about it. It works. But not goats milk that has been pasteurized - it has to be fresh, straight from the goat. Another one is pure tahina (which is a paste made from sesame seeds , rather like peanut butter only no additives or sugar). Tehina paste is very thick and you put a bit on the mouth ulcer and leave it there for a bit, and it heals very quickly.

There are several ways to prevent and manage mouth ulcers. However, the best prevention of the disease unarguably requires sound dental hygiene which eliminates the presence of harmful microbes in the mouth, avoid or reduce spicy, acidic or salty foods and drinks which tend to predispose to it, and the use of antibacterial solution at http://www.oramd.com/ will help a lot to get rid of mouth ulcers.

Try putting a spoon of honey in your mouth and hold it there for a few seconds at least and then swallow. This has lessened my mouth ulcers after a day or two.

Rinse your mouth and gargel with warm salt water...it will work.
You could also use peroxide and water but be sure to rinse with plain water afterwards....peroxide, if left on the surface of anything, will eat it away....so it's up to you what you want to use...
