Like an idiot, I skipped two days out of my medications and my depression hit me yesterday and this morning with full force.

How do I pull myself out of a depressive episode while getting my medication back on track? Any ideas? Going for a walk? Shopping? Watching a funny movie?

Has anyone been in this situation before?

My levels of depression are different, at its worse I go for a walk or watch movies or listen to music that is not negative, because negative things can make me suicidal or have severe anger towards the world and get a big sense of superiority over others.

Exercising usualy gives me a few hours of no depression.

Well first of all take that medicine and soon, which i'm sure you already did. I myself do one thing and it is pray to god, i often go to a chapel or a church and sit and pray to god. Going for a walk is good, reading, or just getting your mind on something else, it will go away, but it is sad when it happens and i wish you good luck. Take care.

I try to do anything I can to get my mind off things. And yes, working out and watching something funny will help you alot.

yep, eating whipped cream was my coping mechanism for a while, but inviting my friends over and laughing at their jokes cured me. Humor is the best medicine is what they always say, and they're right, whoever they are.
