I just got over some kind of bug (flu and a little cold). I been feeling like I been off a little. No stress, work is great but since 3 years ago sometimes I feel like a vertigo. My ear rings once in a while. I saw a doctor few years back and found nothing. Does someone else have vertigo and any sugestions?

Sounds like an ENT visit would help. There can be several causes but the most common one is an allergy that allows liquid to stay in the eustachian tube. That can cause you to sometimes feel dizzy. Colds can do the same thing. If you had a cold recently, it is most likely from that.

Hope you feel better soon.

Okay - I dont want to worry you, and probably it is just an inner-ear imbalance, but I had vertigo and ear ringing for three years - went to the doctor and they didnt find anything - a couple of years later, I woke up pretty much deaf on my left side, and after a day of tests including a CAT scan, it was found that I had something called an Acoustic Neuroma, which is a BENIGN and slow growing brain tumor between the inner ear and the brain stem..... I would definitely try to get more info if it is a chronic issue... This is not something that is found easily - only 1 in 100,000 people will ever get it... and often there are no symptoms until it gets much larger than it should... It was removed and I am fine now.

Sounds like the cold or flu settled in your ear. Thats why your balance is off a little, best check witha doctor or nurse about something to take to drain your inner ear

When you have the flu or cold, stuff gets backed up in your sinuses and that can cause vertigo. Blowing your nose too hard can do it too.

drink plenty of water throughout the day. Most people don't drink enough water and it inhibits your ability to recover and maintain good health.
