I have a thing for pink and red salmoln. I often eat a can of 420g pink salmoln every day. Is this excessive? Could there be any health risks/undesireable consequences to eating that much salmon? And if so what?

I mean think about it. That works out at 3 kilo's (6.6 pounds) of salmon a week. Is that too much or ok? Are certain brands more at risk than others? I mainly like to eat the brand name that sounds like it belongs to a member of the royal family (naming no names). Is that a particularly good brand?

If this is ok, how much is too much?

Salmon either red or pink is very good for you ,I eat two 150g tins per week ,450g per day is a bit too much ,but it will help keep the cholesterol count down. I would cut down on the 450g per day to about 450g per week, and get a more varied diet.

I would think it is fine, but the canned salmon will be high in salt generally. Look for the lower salt content.
