Are you SERIOUSLY asking this question?? You actually know of someone who deliberatly went into surgery for a DIMPLE?? I think that has to be the most ludicrus thing that I have ever heard. If your debating getting plastic surgery for a dimple, you should also go get your head examined.

People with dimples are often considered "cute", because dimples more easily reflect their state of mind, especially when they are smiling.
Dimples are usually an inherited trait, and are a combination of nerve and muscular contractions, which would be virtually impossible for a plastic surgeon to artificially induce (and I would seriously question the credentials of any surgeon who would do such a thing).
FWIW: I recently met a diner waitress who was average looking, but she was friendly and a bit on the shy side. Every time she smiled, even the littlest bit, her dimples appeared like golf course divots (in a good way, of course!). When I left her a tip, I said, "That's 50 cents for each dimple!", to which she laughed (her dimples were "buried" beneath her wide grin!).

I intend to do next year too! But i did alot of research, Most of the cases is like your friend that the dimple is always there, and cases like swelling very badly and disfigure your face. And also, its need about a year to fully recover! Thought for a long time, asked the price.. The best clinic @ paragon, need a cost of 5k.. I think it really not worth to have it with high chances of risk too.. Think about it ya~! :p

I would love dimples also, but would not pay to have them. What if they mess up ?
No thanks.
A dimple is a part of someones character, and if you weren't born with one, don't do it.
Everyone you know would think you were WEIRD

I have two dimples and I love the attention that I get when I smile. They really do stand out.
