Not sure. I've heard some church leaders say that Adam once lived in a place called "adamondiaman" (sp?) which is supposed to be somewhere in Jackson County, Missouri. However, I don't know if that is the "garden of Eden". I don't know how big the "garden of eden" was supposed to be? Was it confined to a small geographic area? Was it the entire planet? Were the continents together or apart when the "garden of eden" was around? Was the "garden of eden" even a real place or is it symbolic of something else? Perhaps the "garden of eden" wasn't even on earth and it is really an allegory of our existence prior to mortality?

There are so many variables and so many unknowns...

Joseph Smith taught that Adam and Eve lived in the land that is now known as Missouri. This information came from revelation and can be found in part in D&C 116.
1 Spring Hill is named by the Lord Adam-ondi-Ahman, because, said he, it is the place where Adam shall come to visit his people, or the Ancient of Days shall sit, as spoken of by Daniel the prophet.
Adam-ondi-Ahman is located near the town of Gallatin, MO. When the flood of Noah occurred, the land of North and South America was separated from the Eurasian continent and became known as a choice land above all others. Thus, when the Lord led the Jaredites from the Tower of Babel to the Americas, recorded in the Book of Ether, the Lord labeled this land as a land choice above all others. Likewise, when the Lord led the Lehites over from Jerusalem, the land was again labeled as being a land of promise, choice above all others.
What would make this land so choice above all others? There was some former designation that God attributed to this land that made it so special. That designation was the land where Adam and Eve first lived. When man polluted the land with their disobedience, God cleansed the land and moved the remnants to another part of the planet, preserving this land for a choice people, to be brought here in God's own due time. The promise on this land is that it will be free from dominion from all other lands as long as the inhabitants will serve the God of the land, Jesus Christ. If the people choose not to serve Christ, then they will be removed, as were the former inhabitants.
We are closing in on that situation today.
I know this will not sit well with most readers, but it is the doctrine.

I will provide a link to a short article about this. Actually we believe that when Adam was kicked out of the Garden he lived in the area that is now Missouri at least for a time.

Here is the Article I got it from:

Here is a search page I did on the Church's website about it:
