Almost every cruise ship now provides internet access, but you pay for it, big time. They charge anywhere from 25cents per minute to $1.00 per minute for internet access, so yes you could use it, but do you really want to?

We took an Alaskan cruise final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days with Princess Cruise strains. the protection improve into very stable in this deliver. there improve into no getting o off and returned on at any port without the right identity. You do ought to remember while your on a deliver that has 7 to eight thousand people on it.......its a small city floating around obtainable. So for sure each individual on that deliver isn't stable people. So take some precautions on deliver comparable to you will possibly anyplace else. Over all, i think of it is extremely risk-free and the holiday of an entire life. We enjoyed it and could bypass returned.

Depends: What ship are you sailing on? For example, Carnival expanded its wireless internet access to all public rooms and suites. You can have unlimited internet dial-up access from your stateroom with a kit provided at the Guest Relations Desk on Royal Caribbean/Celebrity/Azamara. The amount you'd pay for depends on how many days you are sailing. On NCL, you can also bring your own laptop or rent one onboard at the internet cafe. They have both satellite and wireless service. Your question really needs to be answered by your travel agent, who would make the inquiry directly in your behalf or check your cruise docs for more information.

If you are using your own laptop to connect, then yes. But it will cost you from $0.25 to $1.00 a minute, depending on the cruise line.

But why waste the money? You're there for the cruise! Have fun! There's too much to do and see to waste time chatting with friends who you'll see in a few days anyway!

Yes, you can use YIM, MSN, AOL on board via MEEBO because their computers do not support YIM running Java by itself.

The price is vary from .25c to 1.00USD/min. Recommend to buy package of 30min or more for the whole trip rather than paying min. by min - even though u might end up not using them all (still cheaper).

Checking emails on board is FUN. I did it and really enjoyed my relaxing time there with a cup of hot chocolate latte.... Yummm...

you could, but it would probably be extremely expensive. i agree with the person who said you're on vacation, why would you want to sit at a computer and talk to someone online for a while? i can see checking email once in a while...

if keeping contact is important to you, just try sending out a mass email to everyone letting them know you're having a good time, thinking of them and so on.

Another option is to set up your site on MyFamily.com. You can then post and read postings. [Compose your posting ahead of time and download to the computer to read postings, to save $.]

Computer use onboard, as others have said - is VERY expensive.

Sure, like the other posters have mention, be willing to pay the price.

Forget about it, relax and enjoy the trip!
