Usually I do, or I try to. Unless the asker is being disrespectful and rude then I dish up a plate of right back at ya

I try to at times, although I know I'm occasionally rude.
More empathy would definitely make this section less hostile, although I'm not entirely sure it would be much more productive. (It might, though.)

I do and I agree. I try to be fair and kind in my answers - try to imagine the asker in the best possible light and treat them as I would my beloved friends. I also remember being taught as a child "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all."
Peace!

Yes I agree.
If instead of mocking Muslims and insulting their beliefs and their Prophet if most people treat them like they themselves want to be treated, you can learn from Muslims things that you may not know in matters of religion and spirituality.
It will make more sense to you all in a more peaceful and friendly atmosphere when you will learn from us why we do certain things differently.

It varies with the question. Some deserve a lot more respect than others.

I always try to. Having the rule do unto others as you wish them to do unto you at the back of my mind.

I like simple, honest, and logical answers, so yes, most of the time.
I have been known to lose my temper when I see bigotry.

I try to be respectful of everyone; if I find I can't, I don't answer the question.

I confess I'm more brusque than I used to be..
- Used to reread my answers (or posts) and tone them down, etc, more than I do now.

I don't really go for the whole "Treat others how you would like to be treated." thing.
I'm more of a "Treat others how they have treated you." kind of person.
