get 2 puzzle pieces that fit together. Like if you put them on your wrists when you put them together you can see how they fit together (1 puzzle piece each).... something like that would be neat

One of the things you enjoy greatly! Both enjoy reading? Get a tattoo of an open book with pages flying out, and "A Love Story" written on the pages. Like animals? Get a pands on bamboo or something.
Be creative! Look for things you both love, and if it's something like Law, there's a symbol for the Americal Judicial System!! Think outside the box!!

My sister, mom and I had came up with the idea of a heart cut into jigsaw pieces with each of us getting one piece and a shaded outline of where the other pieces should go. You could try something like that and if for some reason things don't work out you could always fill in other half lol!

I personally like tatoos. I even have one, and I understand that you have a mother, so I won't go there.
If it were me, I would wait until after your married to have them done. Pick something that only the 2 of you know about. You could even have something special at the reception that will be a reminder for you both of your special relationship. Something timeless, something special. If my husband was into tatoos we get something related to Vegas, since that is where we got Married!! The only way to go!!!!
If your into tribal art, you can get a celtic circle, he can have one style, you another, but the meaning is the same. Pick birds that mate for life, you get one him get the other. There are lots of things, but it should be special to you both.
Good luck, and may you both be happy.

I have several tattoos. What I suggest one of you get the yin and one get the yang . This way if you break up you can always add the opposite and have a nice tat that represents balance. I have two tigers on my arm which represents this. Good luck.

I knew a man who tattooed what looked like a wedding band on his finger. That way, he never left home without it. It was a simple band in red and blue. I thought it was the ultimate gift of love to his wife. Everyone will always know he's married to her. I'd consider something like that. Kind of special!

I saw these awesome tattoos where there was a bird. There were two tattoos, one was an angel and the other was a devil but they were both drawn in the same style and looked really awesome. I want one. but maybe you could get the angel and he could get the devil or something like that (maybe vice versa too)

Get some saying that you both live by in words that line up when you stand next to each other, across your shoulders or something.
Depends, do you want it where everyone will see it or you want it to be something only you two share. That's a tough one, good luck on finding a good one

I dunno...maybe hearts or something like that? Or if you guys "have a song" or something like that you could get something that symbolizes it...like if the song is about crying on a cloudy day, you could get a tear drop or a cloud? That's a bad example, I know, but you get my point.
Good luck with that I hope you guys choose something you both like!

Me and my boyfriend both got matching tattoos. Mine is a red broken heart that says underneath "Without You" and his is a black broken heart that says "I Will Never Be Whole". Lol we didn't want our names tattooed. But we both have I Love You tattooed behind our ears.

i think that names are a bad idea they seem to have a curse on them you get one and then....you break up so stay away from them...but maybe something that shows how you complete each other two sides of a coin or a lock and a key ya know you love one another so get something personal that symbolizes that bond.hope this helps you .
