There is never any harm in looking around at what other styles do it can only help your training, the best thing is that most schools offer the first class free so you can try out heaps of stuff while still doing Kenpo without shelling out extra cash.

If along your travels you find something that you like better and you don't want to train Kenpo anymore then switch...

Without more information I can't give you any more specific advice.

It would only benefit you to switch if you are going to a incompetent school. I always advise some one to stick it out until you reach at least an equivalent of a black belt "adult" before switching arts. Many arts don't relay open up until that level as fare as a decent self defense. Everyone is different and we have individual strengths and weaknesses. If at a high level Kenpo seems to not fit you than you should find another art that fills in what you personally need.
I Teach TKD and I advise my older students that can't do the high kicks and punishing drills any longer to suplement by combining Wing Chun and or Akedo.
You need to find what works for you. A good instructor can advise you. I would only ask after I achieved a black belt. Don't discredit the art. Ask honestly.

Karate Do is a way of life, so please continue to study with Kenpo for now, but also be open to learning new forms and interpretations from other Sensei. If you find a different school of Martial Arts that suits your beliefs more closely than go with it.

Stick with what you're doing until you get a blackbelt. Blackbelt usually means you understand the entire curriculum of a system. (Not mastered it by any means, but know it) It's better to know an entire system before you add to it with outher styles. Since your main style is Kenpo Karate, I'd add to it with something like Judo, or a Weapon Style lik Kobudo or Kendo.

Go to http://www.bullshido.com/ Go through the site and see how they evaluate martial art schools. How do you think your school matches up against others? If you think it scores well, stick with it. If not, then leave.

You keep bringing this up.

You must be bored of your art or teacher.

You have to be loyal to yourself. If you are not satisfied, go around and look for something you would like to do.

Don't blame it on the art.

Leave your school so you are looked on as someone who hops around.
