I do believe in Christ and celebrate Christmas. I am not sure what your question is but have a happy and safe holiday season anyway. Peace be with you.

When my children were young we definitely celebrated giftmas! No mangers or baby jesus in our home! Gifts were the reason for the season! Now that they are all grown I just don't celebrate! No decorations....saves a lot of time! Putting them up and taking them down was a hassle!!!! LOL

Christmas only one there is,giftmas comes from people like you never been intended that way was made that way, maybe if you tried celebrating Christmas you would see the meaning? Old saying better be a atheist than a agnostic.Agnostics just to chicken to make a decision!

I celebrate Yule, the winter solstice, as the wheel of the year slowly turns and the days once more grow longer with a promise of new life not far away.

Many people celebrate Giftmas, even those supposed believers. It is difficult not to be sucked into the Consumerist orgy propagated by the Media/Government as it is the driving force of our economy and society. I don't claim to know if the story of Jesus is true, or if he truly existed incarnately on Earth, but I don't really expect to know assuredly nearly 2000 years from its occurrance. Believe what you wish, I shall do the same.

Most of the US celebrates Giftmas. Those who go to church just on Christmas and Easter are examples, and only putting on a facade.
If I want something, I'll buy it. If I want you to have something, I'll buy it for you. But I'm not going to wait until some arbitrary, winter-solstice holiday to give it to you. Especially if it's a bathing suit.

I celebrate truth and freedom, even though there isn't much of either in this country.
Being able to purchase gifts with my own money is part of that celebration.

I celebrate all the people being happy and me making money off of it.
I don't do the gifts and even if I did I would not dare throw Jesus into it.
Jess - GO GIFTMASS. Good idea

I personally feel like Christmas is nothing more then a materialistic entity made up to give people an excuse to ask for things.. My kids are allowed to have a tree...and some gifts but I in no way call is Christams. it isnt about gettin all the latest things and paying a fortune for stuff.. and then have someone complain that they didnt get what they want... BAHHUMBUG!!! Giftmas is a great idea..
