Should the US Congress fund a chapel to be built on the White House lawn for all Americans to see?

With a cross on top?

With a sign printed on the cross, Jesus Lives Here...or Jesus Lives...or Texas Methodism is the only one and true Church or This is where God talks to me?

If the Democrats win in 2008, then the cross could be taken down and replaced with a gold calf or a silver calf or a bronz calf or a calf painted green?

If Romney, a Mormon, is the next-president, the cross could be taken down and a directional sign put up which says:

2,000 miles westward to Salt Lake City?

That would look really out of place on the White House lawn besides violating separation of church and state.
