Nothing is wrong with him! He just want to be on the other side of the door. LOL

Nothings wrong with him, he's probably just watching birds outside or seeing other cats and such.
Or he's suffering what I call crazy-cat syndrome. Symptoms include bugged out eyes, ears slightly ******, heavy breathing, pouncing on things that are not there, play biting if you dare try to calm him down, loud meowing for no reason what so ever, running laps around the house, scratching the scratcher like crazy and of course, death match wrestling.
LOL my kitties get like this all the time, just bursts of energy that generally last for about 15 minutes and then they flop over and pass out for 6 hours or so.
Granted mine are usually cat-nip induced, but it's funny as hell.

We have a cat that does that. Female though. She does it when she wants food. The food is just on the other side of the door and she can see us when we are near, so she does that to say HEY! It's time to feed me! She is an outdoor cat, so doesn't come in to eat. Maybe your cat is asking to be on the other side, or there is something on the other side he wants.
BTW - she used to have a Tomcat buddy (named Goober) who would come swat at her when she did that. I guess it bugs some cats when other cats scratch glass! lol

Maybe its his signal to the other cat to tackle him. It probably started out because he wanted out, but since it always results in a fun play session, it's become a way to call his friend to wrestle.

There is a reason why he wants to go outside - perhaps for fresh air or to get away from the other cat for a while. Nothing's wrong - he just found a way to amuse himself.

What does being neutered have to do with anything ?
My cat is neutered and he still wants to be with female cats.
He just can't get them pregnant.
