Our "daily bread" refers to both our spiritual and material needs.
I am amazed that some people think that Jesus was not referring to the Eucharist, given the he said that man does not live on bread alone, and that we are not to worry about what we are to eat.

Luke's version of the Our father uses the word"supersubstantial bread"
from the earliest times the lord's prayer was put just before communion because the early Christians saw the Eucharist as part of the Daily Bread

Well, that is certainly my intention when I say the Lord's Prayer at every Mass.
As a "matter" of fact (excuse the pun!) - there is a particular ceremonial motion made by the Celebrant at a Tridentine Mass where the Host is uncovered by the corner of the Corporal at the words "give us this day, our daily bread..."

I constantly concept it replaced into not exciting to evaluation trip debts because of the fact i'm getting jealous and elect to confirm those places myself as a substitute of analyzing approximately them. yet I enjoyed this one. it is not centred adequate as Keyser reported, yet it incredibly is what made me study it without dropping pastime. i do unlike on an analogous time as human beings write prolix, Balzac-like descriptions of places they bypass to, it wearies down even a e book computer virus like me. luckily the author avoids that for the period of his emails. So confident, it incredibly is exciting and informative.

bread was a regular part of the diet back then, often the only thing a person would eat (that is why the French demanded controlled pricing for bread during the revolution) - so basically he is saying feed us each day

This refers to our daily food. If men had to rely on those
wafers we would not exist.
