They sell them at michael's or any craft store. Try Wilton.com
or you can just melt down milk chocolate chips with a little bit of butter. But, the wilton chocolate discs that they sell are probably the best chocolate i have ever tasted. I have made countless items with them for baby showers and birthdays. The chocolate really holds up. Just becareful when coloring the chocolate.
I have a huge problem when i color white chocolate , red. The red gel food coloring just HATES me lol so instead, i buy the Red colored chocolate heh.
Good luck! , i love making gift baskets. Maybe you can give me a link when you finally have it up and running.

I can't remember the name of them now, but they're shaped like a flat disc, about the size of a quarter. I used to get a bag of them from a large craft store, like Michael's. Those craft stores have whole aisles dedicated to baking, cake decorating, and candy making. They're the best for melting and coating.

They are just called chocolate squares and you melt them down. Most grocery stores have them. I'm not sure where to find them in bulk - sorry! You can also use the chocolate chips and melt those down. It is the melting you need to be careful with - not too hot and in a double broiler pot.

chefgril- you are thinking of Wilton Candy Melts...
These are good for people making these types of things from home, but i wouldn't reccomend using them in a business....I would go for something more high quality....There are other kinds of Candy Melts...as my local cake decorating shop sells Candy Melts from a private person...
If you are going to be using mass quaitites of chocolate...i would look into buying it in bulk, but to make sure its a good quality of chocolate...
any block chocolate should be fine to use, just not like candy bar chocolate, or chocolate chip chocolate...these are a diff formula of chocolate, that aren't ideal for melting.
