you did a nice thing.
if you are ok with keeping it if nobody claims, then go for it.
But if you you really have second thoughts about it, just take the money and give it to the less fortunate people around you: like street beggers, street families, and you'll have done a very wonderfull thing of not only being honest, but also sharing.
keep up the good ettiquettes.

It may not be that much, and maybe you could have used it. But you just don't know if someone lost their last 20 pounds, do you? Imagine if it had happened to you. You did the right thing.

i did that once where i work same it was £ 20.00 note this was in the supermarket as well, afer 6 weeks i asked the same girl , guess what she said someone claimed it but know one did because she never put it in the lost and found book , so she put it in her pocket ,
so you need to think about it was it a right decision you made , i leave it to your imignation

feel very proud of yourself as most people would probably keep it to them selves, and you might end up having it anyway if nobody claims it. if you do end up getting the money you should feel even more proud because you did it the honest way.

The fact that you handed it in makes me feel maybe there are still some nice people in the world. Does that help? (And you never know, maybe nobody will claim it!!) (Although my nasty cynical side thinks the guy on reception might slip it into his own pocket............sorry.)
