Was he? Or was he just written that way?
Remember, the stuff about Jesus was written decades after he died, if he existed at all. Paul, who was the earliest of the writers, said nothing about Bethlehem. That was tacked on decades later by Mark, who was plagerized by Matthew, Luke, and John after that.

He was raised in Nazareth. There is no reason to suppose that he was born in Bethlehem, apart from people saying he was in order to make a prophecy come true (since Bethlehem was the hometown of David and his tribe).

Jesus replaced into born interior the autumn whilst climate replaced into nonetheless heat adequate for shepherds and their flocks to be in open fields at evening. that's extra sensible to discern that he could have been conceived on Dec. 25 and born 9 months afterward Sept. 29, Michaelmas.

(If this is an honest question..then yes..) because Jesus was the "Bread of Life" as in the book of John...which is the Living Word, which is why we have the supper...and partake of the wine and the bread, (an agreement to receive ) "Peace!"
