Those who do not believe that Jesus is God fall into three categories:

Atheist: Anyone who believes that there is no god at all.

Non-christian theist: Anyone who believes that there is at least one god but believes that Jesus is not god..

Agnostic: Anyone who does not know if there is a god.

You can not believe in Jesus, but believe in Some God, and just be a different religion. If you believe in no God, and don't leave any room for any type of deity at all, then you would be an Atheist.

I'm not sure what you're saying?? Atheism means a=without, theist = god, so by definition it means you don't believe in any God. So how would believing in Jesus make you an atheist? Unless you believe he was a prophet or teacher but not God (as Jews and Muslims believe), and also don't believe in God the father....I'm lost :-)

Atheists do not believe in any gods. So if you believed in a god but not Jesus, you are not an atheists. Christians are atheists to all god but their own, in other words they only believe in one god and discount all others as being man made.

If you don't believe that Jesus was the son of God, that makes you not a Christian. If you believe in another God or diety (or gods) than you are a believer in that religion. Aheists believe that God does not exist. This is a specific choice and belief, not a lack of belief. If you aren't sure, you are an agnostic.

No, not beleiving in Jesus does NOT make you an atheists. Jews, Hindus, Zoroastrians, Muslims, etc, are not atheists.

If you beleive in no god, then yes, that would make you an atheist. But if you do beleive in a god, just a different one than others, then you would not be an atheist, just someone who has a different religion...

No, Not believing in Gods makes you an atheist.

Atheism is NOT a choice. It is a lack of belief in gods. One does not choose what they do and don't believe. Did you choose to not believe that there is an invisible giant marshmallow man hiding under your bed? If so, when did you choose to not believe that?

Not believeing in ANY god makes you an atheist. If not believing in one did it, everyone is an atheist.

No, unless you do not believe in a Supreme Being. Otherwise, you would not be called a Christian but, you could be called an Agnostic.
