I heard that a first brigade of troops will be coming home by christmas. my husband is in first brigade of 3rd I.D(not sure if i am wording it right:)) but, does anyone know which one??His has been there longer, but that does not mean he will come home first...or does anyone know when theya re supposed to say which one will return???

You can contact the rear deployment officer in charge and they whould be able to help you. You can also contact your FRG (Family Readiness Group) leader and they will also be able to tell you. As for us knowing it would be hard for us to know. I wish you the best of luck as I know what its like altho I wasn't in your shoes, I was in your husbands.

Do you have a contact with your hubby's command? This is my third Iraq deploy. and they serve on rotations. His command can better tell you. I have learned to not believe anything untill I see my hubby for himself. That is when you know he is home. All deployments come to an end. Keep your chin up you are doing a great job! You arent alone!!

Nope. My hsuband is 1bct, 3rd ID. Spring sweetie. 15 months minimum.

I'm in the Navy, Sorry I no nothing about that but I will pray to god for you husband to come home.

Contact the wives support group who's number your were given they will be able to answer your questions regarding your husband.

I'm praying for you and the country that he and the rest of the troop come back soon.
The troops should be replaced by the United Nations and Hillary will get them involved.

Can you imagine Hucklebaby Finn doing that?

that information falls under OPSEC and only those families DIRECTLY affected will get any information prior..and even then maybe only a week or two.
