You probably mean Conifers. Pine trees are just one variety of the many conifers planted in forests here. In fact I think the 'Scots Pine' is the only native conifer; the other types have all been introduced. After many years of converting many forests to 100% conifer planting, the Forestry Commission the owner of the largest proportion of our woodland has embarked on a more enlightned policy and tries to mix types of trees in each forest - conifer and deciduous. As for actual percentages, you would need to contact the Forestry Commission for this information

3.79%exacly pine trees don't usually grow in the UK they originated from Iceland.
