there's a couple things you can do: immediately after you shower and towel dry, apply baby oil to your skin. give it a a minute to absorb and dab the remaining oil off. apply a thick moisturizing cream on top - like the olive oil cream from Body Shop. If you need something stronger, try using Aquaphor. Its a bit pricy, but works beautifully.
you also want to exfoliate and/or dry loofah regularly. this will remove the dry skin cells that are contributing to the friction.
lastly, pick up a Humidifier from walmart and keep it at night and while you're at home.
good luck

After u`ve finished ur bath put some(2 or 3 tablespoon) body oil such as olive/rosemary/sandalwood in ur bathtub water and sit there for few min Or put the same amount of oil in a big mug or jar of water and splash the water on ur body so the water runs down but the oil stays as much as it can.
Try to use lotion for Extra dry skin lotion such as dove or Boots strawberry & yogart lotion.
Make sure you put some oil or lotion in properly cleansed skin &body B4 u go to bed, that should make ur skin more soft and moistured.

You don't need to go buy any expensive lotions. The thing to remember about any lotion is that is holds moisture in. If you put it on dry skin, there is no moisture to hold in, so it does no good. The thing to do is to put it on while your skin is still moist from washing, shower, whatever. The lotion will work much better when you put it on moist skin. But i will tell you - Lane Bryant has some lotion called "Body Butter" that is really, really good. It costs $5 for a big jar. Good luck!!

hello i could reccomend using a tinted moisturiser because it helps moisture your pores and skin as properly as provide you a commencing up look. it additionally will help with pimples because it wont block any pores. by means of fact the climate is chaning each and every of the time, it helps look after the floor and prevents dryness. Dont positioned on concelear because it blocks pores and makes dry pores and skin look worse, a low-priced way of doing that's to purchase a moisturiser, consisting of uncomplicated or l'oreal and use a small quantity of commencing up, no longer alot yet sufficient to grant a fabulous coverage of the face. x

hehe oh, sorry, but that sounded rather funny ...
I sincerely hope that your skin DOESN'T combust though.
well, I had REALLY dry skin on my hands one winter and this nasty stuff called cornhusker's lotion was the only thing I found that worked. but it's really nasty and greasy.
If you're really desperate you may want to try it, but I'd try what everyone else reccommends first because it's a yucky mess.
hope you find something that works!

Udder cream! Yes, it's what you think it is, but it's also sold at Walmart and drug stores and works wonders for dry skin.
It used to be in squeeze tube and the tube had black and white cow markings with red lettering. Last time I found it, it was in a blue squeeze tube.

I'm with you - my skin is sooooo sore and dry! You could try Bio-oil which is doing wonders for me. In the UK you can get it at any chemist, but I'm sure you can find anywhere and definitely online. Good luck!

If your skin is THAT dry...try Crisco.
And if it isn't ...try Cetaphil or a mixture of your favorite scented lotion with Vaseline Petroleum Jelly.
That should be fine.

hehehe!
whichever one it is you choose be SURE it's non-flammable!
i know from personal experience that bacon grease when used as a lotion can ignite from the spark from static electricity and MAY attract stray dogs or fat bosses.
on the SERIOUS side, find one that comtains lanolin. it's most like natural skin oils, having been processed from sheep.
