We'll be flying Delta in the US. I bought TSA approved locks, but I've heard you shouldn't lock your luggage. If that's the case, why the locks? I want to lock my luggage, I don't want the zipper getting held up on something and then opening and all my clothes been strewn about. Will it be okay if I use these locks?

As long as they're TSA approved... you'll be fine. The TSA have a master key for ANY TSA approved locks....just incase they need to go in and check your luggage for any suspicious things.

Make sure your locks have either of these sign on the lock

With all the new security, baggage can open or cut off locks to inspect the contents of your luggage. Dont pack anything that is valuable.

When I went on my last trip I used tie raps (zip ties).
The baggage people can cut your locks and look in your bag, I did not want to waste the money on locks if they looked, never did.
Yes you can use the locks, but not be surprised if they are cut off.

you will not have any issues in any respect in case you %. the extra advantageous beverages on your examine-in luggage. There are not any length limits (is very) for beverages and gels in checked luggage.
