Hi,
Yes God does laugh at the foolish because they are blinded by thier wordly possessions and pwoer and see this as an end to their existence. Each day we are being challenged to be less attached to our selfish desires and worldly ambition. When we are successful and doing well, it is the human tendency to put God aside. It is only through pain and suffering that we see the face of Jesus and we learn that we cannot choose to live without Him. Jesus as we all Christians believe is God and He is inviting you and me and everyone to follow Him. Many choose not to follow Him but are lured by the devil's false promises of happiness. Sometimes the path that Jesus asks us to take seems so diffcult. Take heart and comofrt that the Lordi s with us always ..till the end of time.
To succedd in an exam, we need to make lots of sacrifices. So too with anything that is good, sweet victory will only come when we have tasted much suffering and done a lto of sacrifices. It is the tihngs that come so easily that will also go away ealsiy and perish.
god's mercy is so great that even if we have 1 foot in hell, all we need to do is acknowledge Him and He will come to our rescue and protect us from the evil one.
The devil can only promise things that are temporary and is jealuos of God' love for man. Satan by his very own pride has rejected God and it is believed by some Theologians that since God is so merciful, even Satan would be pardoned if he will only submit to the will of God and seek God's forgiveness. As we know, pride is the mother of all sins and Satan's pride is so strong that he has chosen to be what he is (cursed by God and driven out of Heaven for all eternity) because of his very own free will.
We all have free will. UIse this gift wisely and remember to work for things that lasdt..heavelly treasures and not for things of this earth which will pass away.

Yes God loves to laugh at those who mock him. An example of God's humor is the instance in which the Israelites were using the Ark of the Covenant like a good-luck charm in taking it to battle, and the Philistines ended up capturing it and placing it in their temple before their idol of Dagon. They came into the temple the next day and found Dagon flat on his face before the ark. They set him back up. The next morning, there he was again, but this time he had his hands and head cut off as a symbol of his powerlessness before the God of the ark (1 Samuel 5:1-5). God’s putting Dagon in a position of submission to His ark is a comical picture.

I couldn't find any reference to what you said was God's own words, but here's what I did find in the bible. This is at 1 Cor. 1:26-29:
26 "For YOU behold his calling of YOU, brothers, that not many wise in a fleshly way were called, not many powerful, not many of noble birth; 27 but God chose the foolish things of the world, that he might put the wise men to shame; and God chose the weak things of the world, that he might put the strong things to shame; 28 and God chose the ignoble things of the world and the things looked down upon, the things that are not, that he might bring to nothing the things that are, 29 in order that no flesh might boast in the sight of God."
Clearly, the lesson from this is that God prefers humble people to serve him and not those who are putting their trust and energy into the people and things that THIS world holds in high esteem. God showed his love of humility also through announcing by angels the birth of Jesus to mere lowly Shepherds. Notice too how Jesus pointed out the importance of the widow's mite to his disciples.

God also weeps for all that are lost, But its their choice to be lost, and He says the only fools are those that wont accept Him. Yep, we need to be on the side of God, thru Jesus Christ and obey as Commanded to do.
God bless you.

Sounds like a real peach, "creates" people knowing ahead of time that they're going to not believe in him or worship him (because he knows all...), but then still acts surprised and childishly laughs as he condemns the people to eternal torture that he knew before he even created them that he WOULD be condemning to eternal torture.
No...those are human attributes you're attaching to him. Only believers like to think in terms of "I will laugh at you as you're cast into hell for not believing in my religion..." If there's an all-knowing God out there, then he would be beyond that type of nonsense.
**Perfectly said, Theo the Cod!

That's an erroneous assumption. The omniscient does not experience suprise, and as such can not experience reactionary emotion. Additionally, God is depicted as omnibenevolent. This attribute disallows him from feeling glee from the fall of his children. If your God wants all to come to him, I sincerely doubt he is brought joy, by knowledge of one's demise. What kind of Christian are you?
