What color shutters will look great with Light color sand siding, white trim and a mahogony front door?

either black or a dark, hunter green. Black is a traditional color and adds a sense of sophistication to your house, kinda like topping off a suit with a nice simple black tie.

I think it's a matter of personal preference. You could either try white to match the trim or mahogony to match the door. Get some neighbors opinions also, it never hurts.

You want to stay with no more than three colors. Tan, White, and the Mahogany door. Otherwise it will get too busy. Normally I would also recommend black. However I think in your case you have enough going on.

I agree with going with mahogany to match your front door. It'll make it stand out really nicely. Good choice on the colors btw! :)
