"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." (Matthew 11:28,29)
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)
These three show me that no matter the trials, no matter the troubles that I go through. God will make sure that it is beneficial for me and that He is there with me. With the trials that I am going through at this moment, I know that God is guiding me, he is carrying me, through it all.

Recently I have fallen in love with the whole book of Hebrews. It is incredibly deep and thought provoking. As far as which verses in particular that I like. I really enjoy Romans 6:3-13 in that it talks about how I can be united with Jesus in His death and Resurrection to which I can have hope.

Philippians 1:6 is my favorite, along with Psalms 139.
There is a song by Jeff and Sheri Easter called Praise His Name. Listen to that song for it is a great encouragement.

Hey let me speak for the prophet Hosea! He was writing Bible! He didn;t have to read it!
Hosea 9:14-16 (NIV) (the prophet is improvising a prayer to the LORD!!!...) Give them, O LORD— what will you give them? Give them wombs that miscarry and breasts that are dry. (And God rushes to answer him on the spot!!!) "Because of all their wickedness in Gilgal, I hated them there. Because of their sinful deeds, I will drive them out of my house. I will no longer love them; all their leaders are rebellious. Ephraim is blighted, their root is withered, they yield no fruit. EVEN IF THEY BEAR CHILDREN, I WILL SLAY THEIR CHERISHED OFFSPRING."
God always answers our prayer even before we open our eyes, if we ask him “according to his will”…!
Jeremiah 16:3-4 (NIV) For this is what the LORD says about the sons and daughters* (*babies) born in this land and about the women who are their mothers and the men who are their fathers: "They will die of deadly diseases. They will not be mourned or buried but will be like refuse lying on the ground. They will perish by sword and famine, and their dead bodies will become food for the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth."
May God’s LOVING sadistic pleasure endure for ever and ever…! and all of God’s people say, “AMEN!!! and AMEN!!!” Any Christian of a sadistic orientation will find a real Paradise in Heaven. The rest will just rejoice in the LORD… whatever they think that is!

Zec. 4:6--...Not by might, nor power, but by my spirit says the Lord. This reminds me that normally when I am down, it is because I'm not allowing the Lord to lead me. I can do nothing on my own, it is his strength that gets me through and the knowledge he has placed within me, so it helps me step back and remember to call on God for help.
