The Bible never even talks about free will. It's nothing more than a modern apologetic. In the OT, god 'hardens Pharaoh's heart'. If that isn't interference with free will, then what is?

If there was a "god" who created man in his own image, why would such a all-powerful entity create such a flawed species as human beings? Why bother. Why go to the trouble of creating something if you don't create perfection-especially when perfection is possible?
If there was a "god" of creation, wouldn't perfection in all things be most desirable?
Certainly your god apparently has the capability and power to make all things possible. Why, then, so much hate and jealousy in the world. Why so many wars, so much crime. Why are most of the humans on this earth such terrible creatures who plot and plan the destruction of others?
If this god existed, he/she/it would be more deserving of hatred and fear rather than love and worship. Why would anyone worship such a terrible and destructive force?
Do you think that in the Old Testament, those old men who put pen to paper, were trying to explain the world around them from their own point of view? They knew nothing of the natural world - nothing of the planet earth, nothing of other peoples in far flung places, nothing about the universe. Do you think that these unknowledgable men tried to explain things from their point of view and limitations and those things they didn't understand, they attributed to some mysterious "god"?
It makes no sense that a "most perfect" being would go to the trouble of creating such flawed creations....
Why would any "god" of creation be choosey? He/she/it apparently knows the hearts and minds of all men, knew before creation everything there was to know, why then pick and choose among them. Why permit imperfection?
Too many questions, not enough answers, not enough validation for this supreme being. No evidence, no proof of any kind, nothing tangible at all. Just the writings of old Jewish men who have been dead for thousands of years.
I don't buy any of it.......

Yes, free will should absolve God of any responsibility for your actions, and you probably arlready know that. Free will is really only relevant, to whether you accept what God has provided, or not. If you have a better idea, about how to create and maintain a cosmos, you are free to exercise you will ( as puny as our will is, in comparison to his ).
You should forgive God, for what you see as his mistakes. He forgives you. That's the deal, now try to work out a personal relationship, along those lines ( forgiveness, that is )

God doesn't stop any action of man. This would negate freewill. God is omnipresent. The past, present and future are all conceived at once. If you consider the standpoint of scripture, there is no death for those that attain personality oneness and willfully choose to do God's will. Your death is coming inevitably regardless, if you have made an attempt to live your life according to his will, there is no actual loss. Those who knowingly sin(go against the will of God) will be judged and executed by means of personality extinction. This allowance is necessary for true free will. You may not understand this from your standpoint of disbelief, but you have to consider it from the standpoint of scripture to understand the rationale of this allowance if not literally, than at least philosophically.

Yes it it does and here is why.
If God gives mankind free will then bad will inevitably happen. If God were to restrain evil, then nobody would have the right to decide how they were going to live their life. So God is good to allow bad to happen, because without that we would be merly robots, without the capacity to love, because true love requires a decision not being forced to do something.

God has always tried to guide his people in the right direction but mans pride and stubbornness has always gotten in the way. So he has let man have his way, unfortunately.

we have free will.......
but with that we also have to know we will be punished for making choices contrary to Gods word.
He made his law clear and if we CHOSE to disobey we will also chose the results

There's a very logical explanation: God does not exist.
Thank you.

Free will does not exist. It is merely an illusion.
