I sing several of Ashlee Simpson's songs (as well as a number of other pop, country, r&b, broadway songs etc.) and I think that she is highly underrated. They've got good lyrics and she's got quite a range that's hard to cover without going into head voice even for a trained singer. So yeah, I'm cool with Ashlee. My favorite songs by her are Pieces of Me and Just Let Me Cry (from the Freaky Friday soundtrack). And the band she works with kicks butt too!!! (I also play bass).
