I do believe in God, but I don't think I can tell you why. It's not because the Bible tells me so. It's not because any religion tells me either. It's because I feel him all around me, in the things I do, In the amazing things I see, and mostly in the things I can't comprehend. Existence it too amazing and life too symbiotic and connected to be just a fluke.

Yes. The Universe is designed. There are levels of complexity. Start with the inanimate. The 'dead' mater has unfathomable science at the sub-microscopic world --- quarks making atomic nuclei and electrons. The smallest atom is kind of a solar system. Atoms are formed systematically. Molecules form according to rules. At the macroscopic to the astronomic world there is mathematics and physics in simplicity and precision. The animate world not only has complex molecules there is the coded A-T-G-C word to define life. It graduates from intelligent lifeforms that work by instinct to the intelligent conciousness that work by thinking. Then comes complex social, political and global economics that is the purview of high lifeforms. Yet even higher there is the world of dreams, faith and hope and love. Somewhere one has to simply admit that there is also an intelligent and powerful designer. This master craftsman who stretches from infinity to infinity in time and space is called God. This God communicates with man from time to time and actually constantly. The TEN Commandments correspond with the ten finger digits. Thus it is digital. If software virus and piracy are to be curbed, then we have to keep God's commandments. Open source is helpful. God wants us to share freely. The world would be a better place if people worshipped God and believe in what He says. However God does not force.

Yes, I do. By which I mean One God who created the universe and all that is in it; who is transcendent from his creation but who is actively engaged in working out his plan of redemption through his son, Jesus, the Christ.
In short, I believe in the God of the Bible, both Old and New Testaments.
As to why I believe:
Philosophically I do not think the world makes any sense
outside of a Biblical world view. I find evidence for this even in people who do not believe that there is one God.
Where I find it is in the instance on law. People who have no philosophical or religious basis for their opinions still seem to recognize that there is a morality which transcends and is better, really, than their own thinking would permit if they carried it all out to logical conclusions.
This morality is recognized by the kinds of laws that people see as necessary--Thou shalt not kill, for instance.
Thou shalt not commit adultery (although I admit this quite garbled these days by permissive attitudes towards sex.
Nevertheless, the fact that people decry certain types of sexual behavior and set legal bounds for it points to an innate sense of morality, garbled or not).
The Bible is a unique book. The claims it makes for itself are unique and come to fruition in the Creation and in the Creator. I find the idea that there are many gods or some "Power" (whatever that means) to be dispiriting. The many god scenario degrades the idea of god and is manifest nonsense given the deep unity of this world on many levels. The "power" idea is a cop-out to my way of thinking. It's an attempt to reconcile the meaningless of evolution with the innate sense that life has meaning.
Creation teaches us the unity of all things if it teaches nothing else. But Creation, in the Bible, also teaches us that God has a very intimate connection with his world,
and with mankind in particular. Man is both elevated and ennobled and put into a very personal relationship with God in the Creation story. Either this kind of personhood is real or it is not. Either man was created in God's image for a beautiful life, which he threw away through disobedience, and God loved him enough to come after him, or life is a jumble sale at best and and a game of cosmic pinball (without any hope of winning) at the worst.
I take the Biblical view and have lived my life on that basis
and the longer I continue in God's Word (for so he calls it) and the longer I learn that His Word is not just ink on paper, but a person, Christ Jesus, who is both fully God
(and therefore perfection) and fully man (and therefore completely identified with man) the more I am sure that
the Bible offers me all I need for life and for faith in what I cannot see yet.

i believe that their must be SOME higher being. But as far as it being the Christian God, I couldn't give you a straight answer. At 17, i am rethinking my religion, questioning it from every angle. But it is nice to have someone to turn to when it hits the fan. for instance, last year was very hard for me emotionally, instead of turning to professional help, i prayed and things started looking up. Now that could have been because i made them, or because my God took pity on my situation and gave me a little push in the right direction. But if you are looking for a "this is how it is" answer, I'd say yes there is a one and only God and he/she is the christion/cathloic God.

If there is a God he sure likes taking it out on the poor people.
All I see is the people of devout countries - places where life is so poor and precarious that a little faith in Something Better is a must just to get through each day - getting it in the neck as part of His divine plan.
If there is a God, He is remarkably keen to let the secularised, fat, happy people off the hook and visit whirlwinds on the devout. So for that reason alone I say "Not Proven."

I believe in higher beings like aliens, but not in God. To be honest I think the whole god theory is:
A) Just a way people are trying to figure out where they come from
B) A way people are trying to control this country
C) A way people are trying to get reassurance that we won't actually die, because people are afraid of death

Yes. Because I trust many actions are taking place on this earth without one involving oneself in such an activity. I myself know when many of my own things are accomplished without my trying to do them. Some good things happen to you and some bad things too affect you periodically, though you have not done anything in the past to deserve them. The bad things that affect you pass off over a period of time, even without your taking any remedial measures.
A beggar on the street becomes a billionaire and a billionaire would be left to fend for himself by doing odd jobs or begging on the streets. All this is not within the powers of a human being to control. They just happen to you. You are only a witness.

Yes I do believe in God. All through out my life I have never have to worry about situations I cannot change or do not have control over, cause i know he will clearly show me the way. He has lead me through difficult time and He is always there for me.
