Pitch (defined):
"Pitch is the distance between crests of threads. Pitch is found mathematically by dividing one inch by the number of threads per inch of a particular thread."

For 20 TPI, P = 1/20 = 0.05 in
For 32 TPI, P = 1/32 = 0.03125 in
For 12 TPI, P = 1/12 = 0.0833 in

Hope this helps!

You just divide 1 by the tpi figure.

20 tpi = 1/20 inch pitch (0.050 inch).
32 tpi = 1/32 inch pitch (0.031 inch).
12 tpi = 1/12 inch pitch (0.083 inch).
