I am an evironmentalist.. or at least aware of the degredation of our country with the increase in population. We have an administration that is totally ignoring the situation, and the increased immigration is harming ALL Americans with a labor supply that is not needed, and usage of the infastructure that is old and broken.

We need an immigration time out and we need to fix our country up. (I want clean drinking water.. and in fact, I want to know we will have water in the coming years... and we have neither at this point.)

We need an immigration time out and decide if we want diversity to the extreme that we have currently, or do we want to move toward better social harmony.

We need the majority of the people of this country involved in those decisions about immigration as well as the minorities. Currently, the minorities are deciding who will come to this country in a rather large, and bigoted, way.

Lastly, we don't need a half baked idiots deciding what would be good for our country. We need pros looking at the future and a seriously overcrowded planet.

Legal immigration is the way for us to open our doors to those who need a safe haven, a good job and to pursue their dreams in a free country. We have many wonderful immigrants who contribute to our country's greatness. Those who sneak in here illegally are criminals and should be treated as such.

Legal Immigration. (U.S. needs to update our immigration policies) ALL FOR IT.

Illegal Immigration. Send them back to country of origin. Get rid of the anchor clause where a child born in U.S. is used to anchor an illegal immigrant to U.S. soil.

I am all in favor of legal immigration. I work in the hospitality industry for a global hotel chain. We have people who have come to America from many, many different countries to work. In my hotels alone, there are people from 26 countries. They are wonderful people, hard working and genuine, and they have become my friends. They enrich our hotels, the experiences of our guests, and also, they enrich my life. I am proud to call them my friends. They all came here legally, and many have become citizens.

But illegal immigration needs to be stopped. If my friends and colleages could come here legally to live and work, so can the rest.

I am against all illegal immigration.
But if the people want to LEGALLY enter the US and LEGALLY follow the rules to become citizens, that is just fine.

I would like to have an immigration process that works. People would'nt be coming illegally if we fixed the system. Then there would be no problems kicking out illegals, because they would only be the people that we actually didn't want.
