Something seems wrong to me about a huge chemical corporation buying a company that deals in natural, earth-friendly products. Now I'm looking for another company that has the same level of natural ingredients as Burt's Bees. Are Kiss My Face and Alba good? Or if you know of another please share.

Where you may think me naive, chocolahoma, everyone else just thinks you're an asshole =]

babiikatezx0-Burt's Bees was purchased on Oct. 31st. Just because they were purchased doesn't mean they won't retain their name and autonomy. Clorox is just it's parent company now.

Kiss my face, Nature's Gate and Jason are all good. Alba is so-so. When I used Alba shampoo it felt like I was using dish soap, and they smell okay, but not fabulous.

Nature's gate makes an awesome daily conditioner that smells heavenly, but it's very strongly scented, so if you don't like that I'd choose another one.

i work a natural food store and we sell all those u mention burts... alba and kiss my facee. I dont think anyone bought the company because we still order from burts directly. but anyway i love alba cremes. but burts is still that best nd they give u the ingredients on the lable so u have nothing to worry about.

besides burts bees isnt even organic it only like 98 percent natural

I am a huge fan of all things by The Body Shop. They use natural ingredients-absolutely no petroleum, they do not do any animal testing, they contribute back to the community where their ingredients are sourced and even one of their plants in Wales uses a wind farm for power. Fantastic company and products.

You're naivete is almost cute.

Do you think that there's any nationally distributed product that isn't owned or affiliated with a giant corporation? God bless clorox. Their products kill bacteria and prevent more illnesses than all of the beeswax in the world.

I mean, Vitamin Water was bought by Coca Cola. That doesn't mean that Vitamin Water is suddenly just sugar and caffeine and food coloring...

Bee-Luscious is another one. They are actually a higher end than Burt's Bees and use less fillers. I like it much better.
