Maybe you should try putting the seat down after yourself and she'll return the favour

I know this is joking, and I do find it funny. But do you know why they make the actual cover? Because bacteria can go into the air from the toilet bowl when it is left uncovered. It's pretty gross when you think about it.

And maybe we women don't lift the seat up for you guys because it's so disgusting underneath since most of you can't aim well.

The toilet seat and lid should be down after either sex uses the toilet.

Females lift the lid, men lift the lid and the seat.

Females put the lid down, men put the seat and lid down.

It seems to be a lot harder for people to get this than one would think.

This takes the same amount of time as it takes men to lower the seat. Since women always have the seat down and men sometimes have it up but sometimes they to have it down too. If this is your greatest problem in your relationship then you have a lot more coming.

Pee on the seat and give her a toilet bowl brush, she will lift the seat and clean it and throw your A S S out! Consider this an" up lifting" experience.

As most women are taught basic hygeine and actually put the lid down before flushing the toilet, I don't think we will ever learn to pander to men's inherent laziness! You may like Bacteria from the bowl swirling into the air and then settling on your toothbrush, soap and face cloth I DON'T!

LOL ... I'm really laughing. I was once married to a woman from Kazakhstan. She didn't know much about American culture when she came to America. I told her that it is polite and customary for women to raise the toilet seat after use.
I had two older sister and a mother who always scolded me for leaving the seat up ... they'd sometimes fall in. My sisters noticed my wife do this while we were at a family Thanksgiving gathering. They asked me about it. I laughed so hard and told them. They were really pissed at me.

I swear this is true!

Why would not all of us only close the lid whilst they are finished? Then all of us has to advance something as much as apply the lavatory. Equality whilst no longer in use, the finished lid would desire to be down. The lid would desire to be diminished previous to flushing. Upon flushing the debris can holiday as much as six feet. reducing the lid prevents this. it isn't any longer approximately adult males vs. women. that's approximately sanitation.

Write a little note and tape it to the wall. That way she'll see it every time she sits on the toilet.

It should read something like this:

"Lift toilet seat when finished please"

Then draw a little happy face face on it =) hehehe

Yeah I have a few ideas, none of which will wind up being posted by Yahoo!

The seat belongs DOWN (or didn't dear old dad teach you proper toilet etiquette?

We really don't need more pigs in the world, try adopting more class...put the dang thing down or you may find it glued the next time you need to take a leak.

Why don't you gentlemen look at yourself? Y'all don't put the toilet seat down either. So fair game.

I think it's gross to put the toilet seat up, hahaha, sorry but that's what I feel.

Interesting question I must say.
