Yeah Jesus was created by his Heavenly father Jehovah. I personally don't see how Matthew 19:17 has anything to do with that.

(Colossians 1:15-17) He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; 16 because by means of him all [other] things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All [other] things have been created through him and for him. 17 Also, he is before all [other] things and by means of him all [other] things were made to exist,

Matthew 19:17And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. Is Jesus saying he is not God? Absolutely not, because Jesus is sinless, he is also good, therefore right here he indicates he is God, which the majority of people will not pick up unless they’re discerning. Jesus was not created, he pre-existed as this verse proves.Colossians
1:14-16 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of everycreature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and thatare in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him.

Jesus is both truly God and truly Man. In christian thought, this union came to be called the Hypostatic union which was a theological term used with reference to the Incarnation (God becoming man) to express the revealed truth that in Christ one person subsists in two natures, the Divine and the human. Hypostasis means, literally, that which lies beneath as basis or foundation. Hence it came to be used by the Greek philosophers to denote reality as distinguished from appearances. Hence, Jesus appeared to be just as you and I are, in other words he appeared to be human, but the REALITY was that he was also Divine as was evident by his miracles, teachings and resurrection. The Divine person and nature of Jesus has always existed because he was God, the human nature and body of Jesus were created in time.

Matthew 19:16-17. "And behold one came and said to him: Good master, what good shall I do that I may have life everlasting? Who said to him: Why askest thou me concerning good? One is good, God. But if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments."

Jesus is actually stating that he is God in an indirect way and is using a sort of reverse psychology, in a sense. He is challenging the man to decide for himself the true nature of who he is. In other words, its like this: "you call me good, but only God is good, will you then therefore persist and believe that I am God?"

triforce: didn't look up the passage in Matthew. The Roman emperor Constantine in 325AD had this big council in Nicaea. They set in stone what Christian belief was to be. They wrote in Greek. It literally took them months to come up with this passage concerning Jesus. "Begotten, not made, of One Being with the Father". Now some other confusing stuff? Christians will tell you he had a "female" mother, but he was the "Son of God", and didn't have an "eartly" daddy? Oddly, (at least to me), He went around in the Synoptic gospels (Matt.,Mark, Luke) saying He was, "the Son of Man"? Kind of confusing, don't ya' think??

Yes, (Psalm 2:7) referred to He's birth on earth and no, (John 1) as referred to He's eternal nature.
Matthew 19:17 :
In other words: "there is only one that is good: God, yet you call me good. Is it because you realized I am God?".
In John 10:30 and other parts He clearly states that He and He's Father are one.

No Jesus was not created; He and the Father are one and have always existed.
It was His mission on earth to point everyone towards the Father for salvation.

Gee In my bible Mat19/17 Says "Why do you call Me good? No one is good but one that is God. How did that inspire your Q?
Better place ta find out John 1/1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was GOD. He was in the beginning with God.
It doesn't get any plainer than that.
