I would stay away from all Smith and Wesson Semi-Autos. I had bad luck with mine and most gun owners would tell you the same thing. Not very reliable. Their revolvers are great...not their SAs though
Go with Beretta, Springfield Armory, Taurus,. It really depends on what model .45ACP you want? The 1911 style .45s or a polymer frame .45 like Glock or Springfield XD Series.
Your best bet is to go to a gun shop and look and hold as many handguns as you can to see which one is best for your. If you have a chance to shoot them, do that. Some shops rent firearms to test before you buy.
I like my Springfield Armory XDs. I have a 9mm and a 5" Tactical .45ACP.

I think most of those you listed are of good quality and would give good service. There is one I'm not familiar with though the CZ. Some others that give good service are Ruger, Colt, Walther (old ones), High Standard, Kimber and that's about as many as I can think of right now. I have owned a Ruger Super Black Hawk for about 20 yrs now and know it to be of good quality. I have in the past owned Colts. Both 357 mag Trooper MKIII wheel guns and 1911autos. Both were exceptional weapons. I did Own a Dan Wesson 357 mag once and it was ok. I sold it for the black hawk 44 mag.

S&W makes several models of handguns that use .45 ACP ammunition. The revolvers have an MSRP of between $940 and $1318. The M&P semi-autos have an MSRP of between $675 and $795. The 1911 style semi-autos have an MSRP of between $1051 and $2239. Discounts, sometimes substantial, should be available.

Used or New? What model? You've only listed a make and caliber.
Check out GunBroker.com for auctions; that should give you an idea of market prices.

Approximate $800. it is a name brand, used and cheaper brands are available also.
Most people who are novice pistol users do not use this pistol. It is too much power, it will go through allot of things, intended and unintended.
If you are interested in fire arms then take a safety course first or join a club.
