Giving to charity is good, but what is even better is giving your time to the people who really need it.

Pay it forward sometimes. Take the time to not be so caught up in our own lives but rather to connect with others and the world around us in a positive and recharging way. It can be hard in our hectic lives. Doing so though help us appreciate how interconnected we are and that we each have the power to make small changes that collectively can make the world truly better. Its not going to happen through hoping or praying for non believers so its up to us to create the world we want to live in.

Treat others like you want to be treated.
Live with the laws of universe, world, nation, state, local governments.

I don't think there is anything especially wrong with me, so bettering myself is a bit redundant. As for bettering other things, I recycle, I ride a bike and I try and leave as little trace of my presence as I can on the environment.
