With every question a person asks about someone other than themselves, they should first repair themselves before directing it outwardly.

So, green lantern, what can YOU do in peace and patience to better YOURSELF and the world around them?

You see, this is a basic teaching in Judaism. Before repairing the world, we must repair ourselves, and in repairing ourselves, we repair the world.

Shalom,
Gershon

FIREBALL - show some respect. Jesus was Jewish and he died a practising Jew. The fact that some Christians can't cope with it does NOT mean we Jews are going to convert. Deal with it!

To the first answerer: er, hello??? We do mix freely with others, what are you on about? :) In Germany, pre Hitler coming to power, the Jews were the most integrated and assimilated we have ever been; the intermarriage rate was increasing etc. The only Jews who are more insular are the very religious - and this is true of all faiths, not just Judaism.

As for the actual question:

We can do what we always try and do: lead moral lives. That is what our religion demands.
