There are so many books of The Bible - both Old and New Testaments because man wrote them all.

The Apostles were credited with most of the writings of the New Testament - but in fact it was probably written by scribes at the behest of those Apostles. Those books were also re-written several times before being translated into various languages from Aramaic, Greek, (or Latin?).

I don't know if "made up" is the term I would use, but there is some evidence that suggests that when these books were actually penned, that some embellishments were added. Does that mean that the entire Bible is not God's word? That's a personal question that you would have to ask God yourself.

The Bible from genesis to revelation is binding today, and God speaks to us through his word.

2)hebrews 4:12 for the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividingasunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The Bible is a compiled set of writings by prophets or the apostles. The quaran may be what you are referring to. It is referenced to a nut in a cave who couldn't read or write.

If the writers of the Bible were so out of touch with God how come it is so accurate about things that happened later. God said He would fortell events to where you could tell that it was from Him.

Before Jesus came, the Holy Ghost had only been given to a few people (the prophets). The Holy Ghost is one of what Christians call the Trinity, and is responsible for delivering the Word in the Old Testament of the Bible.

Joh 7:39 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Greek]
(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

The Disciples were told that the Holy Ghost would come to them, and to all Christians ;

Lu 12:12 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Greek]
For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

Joh 14:26 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Greek]
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

This is how the Bible was written, under the power of the Holy Ghost, which is God Himself. Jesus is also one of the Trinity, so is essence, yes, Jesus is the one that wrote the Bible, not physically, but in the Spirit of God. This happened only after the Holy Ghost had descended on the Disciples;

Ac 1:8 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Greek]
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Ac 2:33 - [In Context|Read Chapter|Original Greek]
Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

Many people will testify to the existence of the Holy Spirit even today. Its like a treasure that is worth more than anything in this world. I may seem hard for a person to find, but after, it ministers to you for the rest of your life.

Isaiah
Jeremiah
Ezekiel
Hosea
Joel
Amos
Obadiah
Jonah
Micah
Nahum
Zephaniah
Haggai
Zechariah
and Malachi
were all people who made their living as prophets. Each also wrote one or more books of the Bible. Their writings contain hundreds of prophecies which have been fulfilled. It is on that basis that Christians knew the Bible is the Word of God.
