I'm cooking chicken fried steak with gravy, mashed potatoes and some sort of vegetable. Haven't decided on the veggie yet. But, I am making lemon meringue pie for dessert. You're sure invited...we'll eat around 6PM central time.

Pan fried halibut steaks with a light bearnaise sauce , i know most people use it with meat but it works well thinned with fresh cream with halibuts strong taste, some fresh green beans, oven roasted pomodorino tomatoes and some lovely little anya potatoes steamed. Followed by grilled slices of fresh pineapple with a scoop of baileys ice-cream. If you can get here before my husband and kids then yes, but sorry only five pieces of fish! Merry christmas.

I'm making three things as I've got my mates coming over
1. Steak Pie with onions and mushrooms, with flaky golden pastry
2. Grilled chicken breasts marinated in lime, sweet chili, garlic and coriander leaves (cilantro)
3. Pork, sage and onion meat loaf with apple sauce
All served with real chunky chips (fresh potatoes, hand cut) and salad or garden peas, or jacket potatoes or creamy mash
Pudding there's raspberry mousse cake with fresh cream,
Chocolate sponge with a liquid choc centre
or
Tropical fresh fruit salad and vanilla (homemade) ice-cream
And yes poppet, you are more than welcome to come!!
