I accidentally froze a dozen eggs last night. they are only partially frozen. i scrambled one up for my husband this morning to see if they tasted ok and he said they were fine. so......if i keep them in the refridgerator will they be okay? should i use them all today? if i have to i will just do some baking and make omlettes for dinner....but i hate wasting food and do not want to let a dozen eggs go to waste.

They won't hurt you, but you really need to use them as soon as possible if you're already thawing them in the fridge.

According to the USDA: Raw egg accidentally frozen in shell: Keep frozen; then refrigerate to thaw. Use immediately after thawing.

You are fine. The objective is to keep food colder than 40 degrees. Don't worry about using them all at once.

I'd be more concerned if you left the eggs in your car during the day while it was sunny and in the 60's outside. The car interior can easily reach into the 90's or higher. However, since you didn't do that and you kept the eggs cold, they are okay.

Freeze Eggs for Longer Storage: Eggs should not be frozen in their shells. To freeze whole eggs, beat yolks and whites together. Egg whites and yolks can also be frozen by themselves. Use frozen eggs within a year. If eggs freeze accidentally in their shells, keep them frozen until needed. Defrost them in refrigerator. Discard any with cracked shells
