Explain advantages and disadvantages. I found a trusted store both at the same price S$350 ( USD$ ~250). Wondering it was a good price for the FAJ 75-300 or not. There is also a Cosina AF 100-300mm for S$250 (USD$ ~170). There is also another Tamron Di 75-300mm for around S$300 (USD$ ~210). Please tell me some bout it. Other options? Advice please? Thx in advanced.

The Pentax 55-200 DA is a digital only lens (will not work on full frame - 35mm)

Tamron Di 75-300 is a film lens that has been optimized to be used on digital or film

Pentax FAJ 75-300 is a film lens that can be used on digital
Cosina 100-300 is also a film lens that can be used on digital

these last two lenses have not been manufactured with a digital sensor in mind so I would have the preferance to the first 2. Iv'e had the first one (55-200) and it is a sharp little lens.

I believe the DA series of lenses are designed for the new Pentax K10D. The K100D and K100D Super don't support them. Base your decision on the body you own.
