That there are people who are very firm on what they believe and do not believe. I also learned that there are people SOME OF them block people just because they have different opinions. I learned that there really are a FEW people who are nothing more than close-minded sheep who blindly follow and do what they are told.
I learned that SOME people are just to scared or to close-minded to even ask REAL questions about their religion.

- That US fundies and Islamic fundies are more alike than dissimilar...

- That many people really DO seem to believe that an oft-repeated lie is 'good enough evidence' if employed against someone of a different faith...

- That most atheists *would accept* undeniable evidence for 'God'. They generally trust evidence more than faith.

- That most Christians *would not accept* undeniable evidence for non-existence of God. They generally pre-deny evidence and trust faith.

That goes for atheists and religious people. Everyone should stop shoving their beliefs down other peoples throats and keep it to themselves.
