What should the Temperature be today?
How much rain should we have?
How much snow?

Since GW is true then we should know the answers to these questions so we can get the climate back to where it needs to be.

Any scientist that doesn't know the answers to these questions woud not be a credible source. But this shouldn't happen because all scientists are in consensus, so that means they have all reviewed the data and will know these answers.

"bob", and "hcl404" are dumbasses.

Even at 99%, these questions should have answers already.

Come on globalwarmers, you guys keep claiming its real. if it is, answering these questions should be second nature. Would someone please call Pope Algore?

Global Warming has not been proovin, which I think you meant (proved) 100% and "all" the scientists are not in consensus! Please look this up for yourself.

Global Warming/Climate Change is not as big a problem as some would have you to believe. An article in the New York Times has even asked Al Gore to stop all the hype:
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/03/13/science/13gore.html?_r=1&oref=slogin That same article talks about Al Gore's claim that the oceans could rise 20 feet is exaggerated by 18.08 FEET! The latest UN study on the subject says the seas could rise a MAXIMUM of 23 inches. Al was only 18.08 FEET off. That, my freind IS hype...

If you look up any global temperature chart on the net, you'll find the earth's temperature has only increased by about 6/10 of one degree (C) - that's 1.1 degree (F), in the last 125 years. So yes, the globe is warming up, but it's not overheating like some would have you to believe. http://data.giss.nasa.gov:80/gistemp/2005/2005cal_fig1.gif

The latest research shows that the methane from cows and pigs is a major factor in the increase of "heat trapping gas". It's actually 23 times more potent as a heat trapping gas than is carbon dioxide. http://www.greenpeace.org/international/campaigns/climate-change/science/other_gases According to the newest UN report on Global Warming, "Livestock are responsible for 18 per cent of the greenhouse gases that cause global warming, more than cars, planes and all other forms of transport put together."

So if Al Gore and all the alarmists really want to do something about climate change, they MUST become vegetarians and shut down cow and pig farms. I mean seriously, if they truly believe that global warming is as disastrous as they are preaching then they need to stop eating meat, period! I doubt that will happen. If not, then they are the hypocrites that some of us already suspect they are.

Also Al Gore preaches to you to conserve, but he does not practice it himself. He uses 20 times more energy in his Nashville mansion than the national average. http://www.tennesseepolicy.org/main/article.php?article_id=367
One thing he has not learned is that you MUST practice what you preach... at some point you will get caught as he has.

WRONG! There are many credible scientists who doubt global warming, with the latest being the creator of the weather channel calling global warming a hoax.

Perhaps you should do some REAL research before you go spouting the politically charged Al Gore theories as fact.

Weather is variable and unpredictable. Climate is much more steady and thus can be predictable.

This is often the case in science, where specific behavior is unpredictable, but the average is predictable.

Take a piece of lead 210. It is physically impossible to predict when a specific atom will decay. And it is utterly certain that half of them will decay in 22.3 years.

This graph shows the same behavior for weather/climate. Individual years jump around a lot (weather) but the long term trend (climate) is undeniable.

Global warming is not 100% proven. Only about 99%. And, similarly, it's not a 100% consensus, only about 99%.

Want to bet your future economic well being on a 1% shot?

If you go to 100 doctors and 99 of them say you need an operation, will you agree with the one who doesn't, because his argument sounds good to you?

The world's leaders are not going to do either of those foolish things. They're going to fix this.

first off..global warming has NEVER been proven at all. its still a theory. well in the terms most people think when they hear global warming. they are quick to say its humans fault because of pollution and such..when in FACT it is just a natural cycle the earth goes through on a regular basis. hence why we've had several ice ages etc. whether we are here or not, the earth will experience another ice age.

It is folly to think scientists have figured out all the variables involved with global weather.
Heck, they can't predict weather a week from now with certainty.
All scientists are not in consensus-just the ones funded by the UN.
UN World leaders will line their pockets-not fix a percieved problem.

You're confusing climate with weather.

Weather is happening today, it can be measured, it cannot be forecasted, it can be colder but never warmer.

Climate can only be observed by certified climatologist, is always warmer, 100% and is accurate 10 years from now out to 100 years.

Hope this clears things up for you.

Most all climatologists will agree they have no idea what the weather will be like tomorrow unless they look at the weather on TV. Ironic isnt it.

If you can't tell the difference between weather and climate, then your current opinions are null and void.

apparently all are calculated risk, the climate we will going to have a weather report that will end i a dialogue like " i therefore conclude that the weather yesterday is the same as tomorrow . duh
