the longer you take them the more "addicted" you can become, its the brain that becomes addicted because the llongger you take percocet the more you need, your body becomes intolerant to the medicine. there is a difference between addiction and tolerance. tolerance is when you body is use to the medicine over time and you doctor has to adjust your medicine, addicition is when you start taking more than what is stated from your doctor, when you crave it and stuff, now addicition doesnt happen with everyone, it just depends if the reason is legitimite or for recreation.
best advice i can give to anyone is dont take it unless in pain reallly unbearable pain. or chronic pain. dont take it if its not prescribed to you thats for anyone!

They can be very addictive and over time, you usually need more and more to fix the pain. There are 2 types of addiction - psychological and physical. If you need to take the pills just for the high of them and not for the pain, it becomes psychological. Physical addiction is when your body gets used to the pain medicine and the pain keeps coming back and the pain medicine needs to be increased. There is a fine line sometimes between psychological and physical when some are just afraid of having pain, that they just keep taking them. There is no actual amount that would consider one addictive. It would depend on the regularity and dependency in which the medicine was taken. You may want to consider accupucture or accupressure as other alternatives for pain management.

When, the pain is gone, but you still need the medicine.Don`t worry , most doctors won`t give you enough to become addicted.I`d only take one, boost it with an analgesic. (if it doesn`t have a combination in it )
