You know what really fascinates me ? Is how the most hardcore Atheist out there are so obsessed with God , They seem to talk about God a lot... or is just the outspoken atheist?
So does that mean they have a obsession with God?
maybe there trying really hard to convince them selves that there is no God? kind of like telling your self your beutiful over and over that you start to beleive it? bad example but you get my point.

Ive heard what you said... But you make it seem like your the most hated... and that is so not true try being a Christian in a communist country you will be jailed and beat and put in the worst conditions possible
imagine being crammed in a jail cell with only standing room and if you have to go the bathroom you go where you stand...
those are the conditions of many Christians not Atheist in the world
Atheist are not raped over and over in Muslim countries Christians are I would not doubt that it has happened by not on a daily basis like Christians...
in Hindu countries Christians are having there homes burned to the ground and being set on fire..
so please don't play the "oh im so persecuted because you have no idea what it means to be persecuted.
"O and I want to say I don't tell atheist there burning in hell without explaining that even theist who believe in God are going to burn in hell not for rejecting Christ but for violating there conscience which contains

This is because those so-called atheists are NOT real atheists but some kind of agnostical anti-theists.
I am a real atheist, and I absolutely don't c*re about that empty concept of "god".
So why should I waste my time questioning about such an empty concept?!?
A real atheist has no belief in the concept of "god". We don't c*re about the name of "god(s)", we don't c*re whether it exists or not, and we don't even c*re about the WORD "god".
Personally, I like to question the Believers themselves, not their "god" and other divine characters.
"Obsessed atheists" are NOT real atheists but agnostical anti-theists.

Some atheists are tired of having religion crammed down their throat, being discriminated against for being atheists or being forced to live their life according to somebody else's beliefs. We want to let the rest of you know that there are many points of view. What harm is there in hearing things from a different perspective than your own?
Did you know that an atheist cannot become President of the United States, because some states have it written in their law that their leader must believe in a Supreme Being?
Did you know that some atheists have been fired after their boss found out they were atheists?
Did you know that we get told regularly that we are going to burn in hell for eternity, that we are working for Satan, that we should not be considered citizens, that we are immoral etc., all because of lies told by religion?
Atheist homosexuals cannot get married because in the eyes of Christians homosexuality is a sin. There are even laws in certain states that ban anal sex, because Christians consider it a sin.
Those are just few examples of how religion effects the lives of atheists. Why is it necessary to put "rules" of a particular religion into legislation? If you believe in it you are free to follow it. If you don't believe in it you shouldn't have to. In my opinion, people should have the freedom to do as they please as long as they're not harming anyone else.
Atheists are not obsessed with God or desperatly trying to convince themselves about anything. We talk about religion because it effects our lives (even though we would like it not to). It's an important matter of equal rights that some of us feel is worth fighting for.

I'm a hardcore atheist, but I'm not the outspoken type. I consider myself very spiritual and I usually answer questions like that.
Like a few minutes ago, a girl posted a question asking how to get over her grief because she had many miscarriages. I didn't preach her on anything. I told her to seek her pastor if she has one or to simply surround herself with those she loves.
So, I'm asking you - what's wrong with that? If the girl believes in God and he gives her comfort, I'm not going to stop her and I will even encourage her.
Those are the times I talk about God. Other than that - not really.

LOL.
Uh, I come here and see that you've posted a tired old set of silly lies about atheists, and kept lying after you were called out about it, and so I'm going to IM you so we can talk - but I'm going to promise in advance not to insult you?
You don't know anything at all about people, do you?
If you want to make friends, you're going to have to stop being such a liar. It's that simple. This is _exactly_ why we have morality in the first place - no-one wants to be around you devoutly immoral people.

I can't even imagine how dim-witted you'd have to be to actually believe that. Are you people completely out of touch with reality? Do you live in a little hole where you never get the news?

It's called hypocrisy. They criticize those whom they see as people who take a moral high ground and act like they are the only ones in the right. Yet they too act like it. Speaking like they have accessed a source of unrivaled knowledge and must share it with the world... not unlike those bible bashers.

You know what really fascinates me? How Christians are so obsessed with Islamic terrorists. They seem to talk about Islamic terrorism a lot - does that mean they have an obsession with Islamic terrorism?
Maybe they're trying really hard to convince themselves that they shouldn't become Islamic terrorists. Kind of like you telling yoursefl you're beautiful over and over again, but you secretly all want to become Islamic terrorists.
======================
See how stupid that kind of reasoning is?
What in the world would make you post something this inane?
---------------------
"All im saying it seems that atheist hate God"
Oh, man, you're really digging yourself into a hole with this one. Do you think that if you keep telling this lie you'll convince someone? Have you ever considered just being honest?

As an atheist, I think about God almost every day.
I try and try and try to come up with a workable definition of God in religious terms as they relate to science... and fail. This is because I like mind experiments, philosophy, cosmology and physics - it's just something that interests me.
You should applaud someone who has spent much effort understanding their beliefs - religious or not.

Give orders to those who are rich in the present system of things not to be high-minded, and to rest their hope, not on uncertain riches, but on God, who furnishes us all things richly for our enjoyment; to work at good, to be rich in fine works, to be liberal, ready to share, safely treasuring up for themselves a fine foundation for the future, in order that they may get a firm hold on the real life.

I don't think atheists talk about God so much as Christians, and this is because Christians have an impact on our lives through the law. I disagree with some Christian ideas, yet I'm forced to be led by Christian politicians, who push their own value system on me against my will.

because theyre trying so hard to convince themselves that there is no GOD. thats why they keep repeating the same tired old lines over and over."there is no god". God is a myth" they think if they say it enough then eventually theyll believe it.
