I find it strange that television stations refuse to show people running on to the field during a football game. They claim showing them on national television may encourage people to do it more often.
This same media floods TV with information and pictures of these killers, yet fail to see the same logic they apply to football games. Any kid that wants to be famous knows all he has to do is grab a gun and start shooting. The media is even kind enough to rank which ones are the "worst in history" so these people have a goal to shoot for.
The media should focus on the victims and the families of the victims, not the killers. That would put a face and personality to the victim, and may actually give a potential shooter an incentive not to kill.

Teaching kids personal responsibility.
This is a generational thing that's going on. Never before has there been such contempt and lack of respect for authority. Lack of respect for police, teachers, grandparents, and parents.
Once this begins to change, these type of occurrences will fade away. Yes... As said earlier, the media magnifies the problem. Its not that shootings did not happen back in the day. They did happen. The media just did not look for them with such aggressive, jaw dropping, fervor.

I think the signs have always been there. Nobody notices them or thinks anything about them until after the fact though. I think all the media hype over incidents like the mall shooting get does more harm than good. The kid wanted to be famous and the media made it so. One thing is sure, the government is no solution. No law would have prevented this kid from doing what he did. He had a mission, he would have gotten it done one way or another.

For the love of .....
OK Call it what you want...original sin or residue instinct...whatever but human beings are VIOLENT!!!! Do you want to know what leads to violence? Try holding down three jobs and still not getting ahead in life (ie personal finances) or that daddy beat me as a kid (ie history) or I didn't get that porshe that was promised to me (spoiled anger)...etc etc etc. People get set off for different reasons. What makes you go into a rage might not be the same thing for me.
For instance, my trigger is someone that whines and complains about something that can not be stopped and pleas with government to do something about it. For me, that is laziness and irresponsibility with a side of wanting to take freedoms away from everyone to make that person feel better.
You want to know how to stop violence...kill more people so we stop fighting and have elbow room to grow.

Thousands of cops do exactly that every day...watch for people who are not 'right'.
Education won't change human nature.
I think Trooper is right, but people running onto a field isn't news, and a shooting is, so guess what gets on TV ?

I do believe that quote. If there are a hundred black human beings interior the room and 5 are appearing a stone fool, human beings will say, "Black human beings do merely no longer understand a thank you to act." If there are a hundred whites and 5 whites are appearing ignorant, they'll in basic terms say, "those human beings do merely no longer understand a thank you to act." With that being reported, i do no longer possibly ought to make those imbeciles like Gucci Mane and Wocka Flocka out to be some type of sufferer using fact I doubt they have something suitable to assert that would not incorporate speaking approximately money, huns and backyard equipment. those men ought to be held responsible for his or her very very own movements, besides. they are the definition of a sell-out. in the experience that your significant objective is to get wealthy on the downfall/detriment of your community, then you certainly're a sell-out. Flat out. i'm going to agree that the media would not sell effective minded rap artists using fact i think of the actuality hurts and their platform is merely too debatable for the mainstream. they are often surprisingly political, anti government and professional-Black, so as this is something that the mainstream fears. in spite of you do, do no longer rouse the greater youthful black individuals! are not getting them thinking. save appealing them to smoke weed and have intercourse. i'm thinking this is how massive experts think of. authentic, those men who rap politically will in all probability in no way get wealthy as maximum, different than for Rage against the gadget who overtly talk against the government, hardly do. this is the sacrifice they make for staying authentic to themselves. So, possibly they at the instant are not somewhat concentrated on getting wealthy.

Look folks, there have been whackos in the world since man first existed and I hate to burst your bubble, but there will be whackos around till the end of time. My heart goes out to the people and families who were killed in the shootings yesterday, they were truly innocent victims. All of us must be aware that random acts of violence occur everyday and we need to be constantly aware of our surroundings. I think you are right in saying people need education about ways to recognize abnormality, however it is and always will be up to the individual to educate themselves.
